Our Philosophy

Our goal is to provide the most up to date dental care for the entire family in an efficient and cost effective manner. Our office environment is modern as well as comfortable. We believe we have the neatest and cleanest office in the area.

Prevention is the emphasis of our practice. At Oz Family Dentistry, we want our patients to keep their teeth for a lifetime. Your personalized prevention program will be a combination of at home and professional care to deal with the cause of dental problems and help you avoid costly dental treatments in the future.

Practice History

Dr. David J. Osdoba opened the practice in downtown Mankato in 1956. Dr. Daniel M. Osdoba joined the practice in 1984 and worked for Dr. Dave until purchasing the practice in 1989. Dr. Dave retired at the end of 1992 and in March 1993, Dr. Dan moved the practice to the hilltop. Our current facility, at 1550 East Adams Street, was opened in October of 2003.

Payment

General:  Payment is expected at the time of service. You will receive a walkout statement at each appointment showing your charges.

Payment Options:  Payment is due at the time of treatment.  We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.  We also offer a payment plan option;  CareCredit, that allows you to start treatment today and spread payments over time.

Insurance:  We are happy to file the forms necessary to see that you receive the full benefits of your coverage; however, we cannot guarantee any estimated coverage.  All financial arrangements are an estimation only.  Because the insurance policy is an agreement between you and the insurance company, we ask that all patients be directly responsible for all charges.  Please know that we do everything possible to see that you receive the full benefits of your policy.

Statements:  Statements are mailed periodically throughout the month and at the end of each month.  Statements are not sent if there is an outstanding insurance claim.  Payment is expected within 30 days.  Past due accounts will receive a finance charge.
