Cancellations
If you are unable to keep your
appointment, please give us 48 hours prior notice, so that
it might be possible to schedule another patient.
Emergencies
If an emergency arises sometime
prior to your appointment or during regular business hours,
please contact us. We understand these situations arise and
have allowed time in our schedule to accommodate you. If the
problem arises after regular business hours, the answering
machine will direct you to an emergency number.
Failed Appointments
You will
be charged for a failed appointment. We have a waiting
list for both Dr. Dan and Hygiene appointments, so it is essential
for you to keep your appointments.
Late Arrivals
Our goal is to provide high quality
dental care to our patients. Quality care takes time.
If you are late for your appointment, you may be asked to reschedule.
Recalls
We strongly believe in preventive
dentistry. The Doctor and your Hygienist will discuss
with you when you should return for your next cleaning (usually
3, 4, or 6 months) and our staff will set up the appointment
for you. We will send you a recall card 2 weeks before
your appointment and also make a confirmation phone call 1 or
2 days prior.
X-rays:
The need for x-rays is determined
on an individual basis by the Doctor. We typically take
bitewing x-rays annually and a full mouth series on new patients
and then every 5 years.
